Strippers United is working hard to raise funds to create nation wide, online panel conversations with strippers working in the clubs. Our goal is to raise awareness of what’s happening in our strip clubs and how we can organize as a community. With strippers labor rights continuously violated, the class action law suits not changing anything, we feel the next best thing to do is talk to each other, inform each other and come up with viable, useful and safe plans to create change. In order to fund the panels, we are in the process of coordinating a workshop tour in Southern California, where we are headquartered. If you are interested in being an instructor and helping us raise funds, please read on to get the details.
This will be a paid opportunity, but the payment is $100 for 90 minutes of teaching. This is because we need to raise as much funds as possible for the panels we are planning. The grant sector has become increasingly competitive with the current administration. This is our unfortunate reality.
You will be promoted via Strippers United channels as one of our instructors, including being promoted through our partner organization, YAS Work.
You will have the option to sell whatever you may like at the workshop you would be scheduled for. Sell digital downloads? Bring a QR code. Sell clothes or art? Bring items or information on your brand, etc.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with other sex worker professionals, including Selena (aka @prettyboygirl), Halo, Reagan and our president and veteran stripper, NatsHoney. All members of LA Stripper Co-Op.
The point of this workshop tour is not only to raise funds for our cause, but to also inform and educate pole dancers on stripper issues, exploitation, cosplay and discrimination. We are doing this via curated speaking topics developed by our team. Meaning, the instructors working with us will be teaching, but also collaboratively speaking to the students (with at least one other instructor) on topics regarding our work, exploitation, cosplay and ways for pole dancers to practice healthy ally-ship.
To be clear, the speaking topics and content will be provided, but allow you freedom to include your own thoughts and experiences if you so choose.

If you are still interested, please fill out the form below. Spots are limited, as we only need 2-3 instructors. We are considering this volunteer work with a $100 stipend, and appreciate any of you that feel you are in a position to do work with us on this project. We understand if you are not.
